I am Javier. Me and my girlfirend, Lidia, have just moved to Bremen from Spain and we are looking for a place to live. I'm starting a postdoctoral position at the University of Bremen, so we will be here for at least a year and a half. We are both 29 years old. We currently don't speak German (we're on it), so the landlord should be able to communicate in English (or Spanish).

We are looking for an apartment with at least 2 rooms with a fitted kitchen. We would like it to be relatively close to the city center and the university. We can afford a total rent (including all utilities) up to 850 €. If the apartment is furnished, that would be an advantage.

We would like to enter to the apartment no later than 1st of June. We are reliable people, and we respect the rules of our environment, so we will be great tenants and neighbours.

If necessary, I can send a copy of my contract, which demonstrates a net monthly salary of ~3200€. I can also show a document with the amount of money in my bank account. Altogether, this should demonstrate that we have enough resources to afford the rent.
